We spent a month in Port Townsend while working on our boat in the shipyard, so we ate out a lot and fed our crew. Pizza Factory was one of our favorites in town. Really good thin crust pizza, nice people working there, pizza dough flying in the air, and a decent salad bar. The seating could be improved, I kinda fall into the booth seating and the picnic tables are, well, hard, wood picnic tables, not comfortable. Not a fan of having a TV blaring either, but some like it. Did I mention great pizza?
Crust was good. Sauce was very bland. Spinach and garlic toppings were good. The place was busy with their all you can eat lunch special. Took about 15 minutes for a while pizza order. Staff were pleasant, if distracted on a blustery Christmas Eve.
5 Stars based on two experiences: We had pizza delivered to our sailboat in September, and it was amazing! So nice to have a hot meal delivered in a nasty storm. My gluten-free pizza was absolutely delicious, and my husband really enjoyed his (regular crust) pizza as well.
We tried the Pizza Buffet while we were in town this month, and we were both impressed with the fresh salad ingredients for the salad bar. My husband enjoyed several different varieties of pizza from the bar, and I had a pizza with cauliflower crust, made just for me. The young man preparing the pizzas was super nice, and made me feel valued as a customer. I get different reactions when I make requests for special dietary needs, but this fellow was so sweet and made me feel like it was no problem at all, and said he was happy to do it. We loved the old-time feel of a pizza parlor when we walked in, and having some board games available was an extra nice touch too. The prices were very reasonable as well... and we overheard another customer saying the same thing.
