“We were seated quickly, no waiting. The food choices were simple and straightforward. My wife had the special, spaghetti and meatballs, and the portions were more than ample. I enjoyed the meatloaf. Both were good, not fabulous, but well priced too. I noted that there was no push on the beverages. Usually I feel pressure to drink, when I am happy with water. And the water was good, cold, with lemon. So, good prices, food as expected and good service. A pleasant experience, go try it!”

“Went here for the first time because every cafe in PT was busy due to the Beer Festival. We sat outside in the Fire Hearth Room which the owner made himself and noted it probably could accommodate several larger parties in bench table and standard table seating. The owner came out and chatted with us; sharing that he is looking forward to going full time in the restaurant after he retires as a contractor. It was very busy and we did have to wait a bit but it was worth it. I had the Biscuits and Gravy which the owner proudly shared is made with a local pork sage sausage and a real cream gravy. My partner had the club sandwich with fries. We both enjoyed our food and would come back again.”

“Loved it, and hated it. We were in from out of town and wanted to get some of the seafood that areas like Port Townsend are famous for. I got THE BEST king salmon I have ever had, and some oysters that were completely inedible. I had to throw them right into the garbage. That being said, the dude behind the counter was great and went out if his way helping me to select a great piece of salmon in the right quantity for the group I was with.”

“Friendly employees, delicious food, and good prices. I got the oyster burger, and my significant other had the fish and chips; both were superb. My favorite is their french fries though! The perfect balance of crunch with a soft inside. From now on, we will make this a regular stop anytime we're in Port Townsend.”

“First off cash only ( atm available at Safeway across street) simple diner offering standard diner options and a random selection of bottled beer.Biscuit was fresh and soft, perfect. Gravy was good could use a bit more sausage flavor, but still good. Hash was amazing potatoes and beef were tender but not mushy both were pan fried with a slight char giving a great flavor. All in all a great place to grab good hot fresh food with a beer. don’t forget your cash”

“The chicken fajita burrito was the best I've ever had. Most places just put uninteresting shredded meat - this chicken was spiced and grilled. Scrumptious. Wait staff was awesome and even got the kids special requests perfect.”

“The fact that this location offers a gluten-free crust makes them earn 5 stars. This is a go-to spot when we need quick dinner. I love that they let me build my own salad, which is also a good lunch option when I'm in a pinch.”

“I love Fat Smitty's!! This cash-only burger dive has impressive burgers (like the Fat Smitty burger), incredible shakes and scrumptious onion rings and fries. I'm not from the Port Townsend area but anytime I'm in town I make it a point to come to Fat Smitty's. They also have dollar bills pinned up around the restaurant that get taken down once in a while and given to charity. I will wholeheartedly endorse this place and can't wait until next time I'm in town to enjoy the massive Fat Smitty burger!”
