Dave & Buster's

This was our first time at Dave & Busters, and the visit started out great. It was jam packed, and we asked Manager Ian how the whole place worked. Not only did he help get us squared away, he went the extra mile to make our son's birthday even more special.

Then we ordered our meal. It was almost an hour before our food arrived. Our appetizer never arrived, nor did my beer. Our waitress told my wife that I probably should have ordered my beer from the bar and not from her. The food was looked and tasted as if it had been microwaved, and the portions left much to be desired. After asking for our bill and waiting a bunch more, we ended up standing beside our table to convince our waitress to bring us our bill. Turns out that we should not have assumed that we wouldn't be asked to pay for food and drink that we ordered but never received.

In the end, we will likely come back here to let our kids play video games, but we'll eat beforehand.

I had time to kill so I stopped in to give it a look. If you're into video games it definitely has that, however I was not there for that. I sat at the bar and I was there when it was not busy. The menu looks great and I placed my food order. It came out in a reasonable time and was good. Little on the pricey side for what you get but not terrible. I'd probably give it another try if I'm in the area. I just don't see this place being a regular stop.

If you ever want to turn $100 into a few pieces of prize candy- and still feel good about it, this is the place to go.
My girls have the time of their lives here and they serve adult beverages so you can enjoy those while gaming if that's your thing. The games are cutting-edge and they all work. Going on a discount night is twice as fun too if you get weeknights free. I have never regretted coming here, even if I drop a wad of cash while doing it. Totally worth it and arguably one of the most fun local places to go.
