Red Lotus Restaurant

The food here is pretty good. We tried a variety of items with the family meal and although one of them was not great (some seafood item)the rest were top notch. The waitress was nice but ended up adding on a side of fries to my kids order and charging us even after I mentioned it was a mistake. This place has been around forever and is always a solid staple of auburn.

I’ve been eating at Red Lotus many many years. The staff is always friendly and we always get a table. We’ve never waited too long for our food, but the food has not tasted the same for awhile now. I think it’s whoever is cooking now. It’s just below average now when it was always excellent. I’m sure we will still drop in once in awhile. Maybe it’ll be excellent again on the next visit ????

It seems to be for everybody else that the red lotus is a hit or miss depending on who's doing the cooking. I have been going to this restaurant most of my life. I can honestly say that I've not had hardly any misses or bad experiences and love taking my daughter here also :) it's a family favorite of ours and hope it is for yours also

Food was not what we expected. Not to say it was bad but we ordered and got a more cultural version of what we thought it would be. Wait was for food was long, but they cut the bill in half out of curiosity, which I found lovely. Seating was nice as was staff.
