Excellent service, good food served hot. That curry was nicely balanced - not too much coconut that can overwhelm the other flavors, not too spicy, just right. All the flavors and textures came through perfectly. The oyster appetizer was attractively served, a really delicious combination of lime ice and a piquant tomato salsa that complimented the oysters well.
We ate at Dukes for our last night in town. We went all out and got the bacon wrapped bites, the 4 dinghy clam chowder sampler, the wild Alaskan salmon in pasta, and the crab cakes. Every single thing we ate was delicious and flavorful. We recommend the regular clam chowder; all of the samplers were great, but the original was over the top tasty. Staff and service were wonderful. Prices are high, but we expected that from a nice seafood restaurant. Definitely check them out.
Today was the best service I've ever had at Duke's Bellevue and Lake Union. The service has always been fabulous but today was extraordinary! Our server was Alex here at the Bellevue location. I came with a friend for our birthday special. On his own, he sang happy birthday. His service was outstanding! I'm coming back for Mother's day brunch next week and will absolutely ask for him to be our server!
The service is excellent. The menu has so many great things it's hard to choose. The prices are downtown Bellevue prices but they try hard to make it worth it. Everything I've tried there is cooked to perfection with some extra added touches to make it special. Great place to impress visitors.
Duke's is always a good option for a seafood dinner, and this time was no exception!
The halibut dishes that three of us had were all delicious, with the fish flaky and moist and the various preparations all week matched to the rich fish.
One of our party choose to have a crab salad, which he found very tasty, as well.
Service was quick and accurate, and or server was friendly yet professional, providing a great experience.
The one downside was the chowder, which seemed to be quite salty. It was still good, but it wasn't a match for the rest of the meal, unfortunately.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Duke's as a solid option for a seafood dinner!
