Liuyishou Hotpot

First time going here since management and the business changed. Must I say wow it was terrific. Wonderful food, better than most other hotpot places of this style in the area. I will definitely be going again. Be ready for a large bill. The high quality and wonderful taste and presentation come with a hefty price.

Absolutely amazing hot pot place. You will never regret having dinner here. Food and soup base are authentic. One thing to note, however, is that the wait time is long. But you get snacks while waiting. Overall, I will recommend this place for any size of groups.

The real deal. The pork broth and mushroom broth are are fantastic. Meats were ornately presented over ice which was a nice touch. And the sauce bar to build your own is great. It's nice to have a traditional hot pot on the east side finally.

Really enjoyed this place. The meat was super fresh and the spicy soup was excellent. They have a well stocked sauce bar as well, will be back for sure.

Edit - Went back a second time, it was equally as great. They went out of their way to help us pick a portion size and more affordable options. So great.

This is a franchise of a popular Chinese hotpot chain from Chongqing - home of spicy hotpot in China. The broth is very similar to the one I had in China and the ingredients are similarly excellent. The crispy pork with chili is one of my favorite Chongqing snacks. You can make your own dipping sauces and get snacks/appetizers at a self serve bar. The ingredients for the sauces are also very fresh and good quality. I went with one friend but for any good hot pot experience you should go with at least 3 people so you can order a variety of foods.
