Peony Kitchen Bellevue

Wonderfully authentic Chinese food. Much higher quality than we expected for a main-strip Chinese restaurant. In our experience, the best Chinese restaurants are family run, generational restaurants though Peony rivals these in authenticity.

We went during their Chinese New Years celebration menu and got the black and gold juicy dumplings, the 5 flavor pan fried buns, and the chow fun. All were tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

A good place to eat with a group for family style. The food was great with a pleasant atmosphere. Best experienced with 4+ people.

Everything was pretty good. One of the best duck I have eaten... the skin was crispy and meat was juicy. The soup of the Manila Clams was seasoned well. Least favorite was Prawn Clams but it’s not bad at all. Service was good too. A must try when you’re around Bellevue area. ????

This is unquestionably one of the most attractive restaurants in the area. Every time I visit this place I am extremely glad. They preserve their high standard service and the highest level of dishes they provide. You are always happy with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

There's a great variety of delicious food served quickly by friendly staff. Portions are very appropriate for "family style" meals (people share all the dishes ordered). Peony Kitchen also runs great lunch and happy hour specials. I highly recommend to stop by and try the duck! It may seem a bit pricey, but it's well worth it and a great deal when split between multiple people. And you can't beat the crispy pork belly!
