Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

He was tended to our party with such an awesome attitude and professional manner!

I've never been the biggest fan of Red Robin, equating it to a burger-centric version of Applebee's, but I have to admit they do make some pretty tasty burgers! I had the Royal Red Robin Burger, my first time ever having a burger with an egg on it and it was pretty tasty. The egg was a little undercooked, but not that much. It did make the burger a slidey mess, so be prepared for that if you order this. The yolk breaks and rushes out of the burger. Tastes good though! Service was excellent.

One of the things I find funny about Red Robin is when you ask for a refill on the fries, they bring you about a dozen fries. I suppose it's better than wasting food, but if there are two or more people there it would make sense for them them bring a few more than a small handful.

The other odd thing is how much ice they put in their cups: my drink was 80% ice, forcing me to use a straw to get more than three sips from it. It seems to me Red Robin is ruthless in their protection of profit per customer and they do all they can to avoid giving too many fries or too much pop to anyone. At least their burgers are good. ????
