Tuscany at Des Moines Creek

Very quiet restaurant in Des Moines across the street from the dollar store. The food is excellent expect to pay around $10 a meal they have baked goods up front banana bread, zucchini bread and other baked items they're very good. The staff there are very friendly. And the parking is decent. They close really early though so that's the only downfall.

Right as you walk in you get an old time feel. Seemed like a place where regulars come often. It was an early morning (late night for me, I work swing shift) and I wanted a good protein dinner at 7am. They serve everything on their menu at all hours including beer at the appropriate times. The waiting staff were quick on their feet and quick witted as me and my buddy joked around about various topics with one of the staff. Everyone was friendly and the meal was satisfactory.

After having a lovely experience here for Thanksgiving we decided to try dinner and were not disappointed. The Tuscany salad was very tasty and my husband enjoyed his Reuben sandwich and salad. The menu has a nice variety of choices, not all laden with fried, overly processed food. I particularly liked all the salad choices. The homemade baked goods looked devine. Although we didn't have room for dessert I overheard others commenting on their goodness. Very friendly, accommodating and quiet ( could actually have a conversation without shouting) and we'll definitely be going back.

For the most part it was good. Although, the dressing was a little dry and the dinner rolls were over cooked. Friendly staff and pleasant ambiance. It's a good place to go for those who don't want to cook for Thanksgiving.

The most and best restaurant that I ever been! They have a nice and clean spot for whole meals! Very great in everything including the foods, the environment especially in excellent customer service. LOVE to recommend to anyone to try! or else you will really regret!! I think this restaurant needs more than just five stars ????
