Amazing food and really friendly customer service. This is what a family owned restaurant should be like. 5 Stars

Well, I give them high marks for service, but lower for food taste and quantity. The Hot & Sour Soup was very close to traditional ingredients (that’s a plus), but lacked in flavor (definitely a deficit). The Almond Fried Chicken was very skimpy on thinly sliced chicken and overly bland. The light-grey gravy tasted like a simple water and flour mixture, quite distasteful indeed. The sticky fried rice was heated, but did not appear to be fried. It had no pork or other meat in it, but I can’t say it was improperly advertised though, because I guess “Fried Rice” doesn’t mean “Pork Fried Rice”. The piece was reasonable compared to other restaurant lunch menus, but maybe not so reasonable if you are paying for subpar food. Overall, great and friendly service, but poor enough on food taste that I cannot recommend this place without the above information. For me, the cons clearly outweigh the pros. So, I continue my quest for the just-right Chinese restaurant. And for New Peking Wok, well, been there, done that; I’m over it.

Some of the best vegan food you can get in federal way, they even have an entire menu for vegans! (You have to ask). The tofu is done well and the owner is very nice. I have tried both Kung Pao and Mongolian tofu and both are very good. My mother also had four season beans with beef, she said it was very good and the beans are crispy.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food this is the spot! The food is delicious and the customer service is just amazing, super nice folks. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible! I've eaten at too many Chinese restaurants to count all throughout the United States. I've got to say with 100% honesty that this restaurant is the BEST! My husband has eaten here since they opened in 1987, and has been excited to take me. I now understand why. Highly highly recommend. Their service is exceptional also! You're missing out if you don't eat here!
