    I have worked in the asian food distribution industry for over 6 years. My wife is Japanese and I have lived in Japan for 2 years. Please believe me when I tell you that this place is legit.... the flavors are authentic and the prices are spot on. The only thing I see that is different from Japan is they incorporate macaroni in a side dish which I am sure is by popular demand for the demographic of their customers. SHOUGAYAKI is excellent and has a homemade Japanese grandma taste that I was shocked to have found out of a small bento place in Issaquah. Food is made to order so be prepared for a 10 min or so wait. Phone in your orders if ordering for a larger crowd. You won't be disappointed. I am so glad we found this place. You will be too.

    I simply loved their dishes. I always get great service here. The place is well kept and the workers are always welcoming. Will come back again.

    The sushi rolls were SO AMAZING!!! We had the lemon desert and oh my gosh it was so good!! By far the best California rolls I have ever had and the wait was not long at all, it was SO GOOD!!!!!! I can never eat another California roll from another place ever again! Amazing food! Next time we are calling takeout :)
