With my wife, we love this place.
We'd been coming in for 15 years, 3 or 4 times a year; their food is good and has slowly changed over the years. Sometimes, things we liked very much had disappeared to be replaced with new favorites.
Service is excellent, courteous and joyful.

Great staff make everything else possible.
Varied food options. Seafood fettuccine is great but please remove the shrimp tails up front so its not a fingers in the sauce effort.
Varied seating options. Open seating next to bar is preferred for quick visits. Outside seating when its warm.

We came into Coho Cafe for a light early afternoon lunch. I had a seafood chowder, he had fish with rice. We both enjoyed our meals, and found the environment quite nice. It was a lovely family restaurant. That being said, we weren't blown away by the flavors or quality of the food like we have been at other area establishments. I would absolutely come back again with my parents or visiting relatives looking for a more mainstream dining experience.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, ordered the calamari appetizer, which was good and the steak wedge salad, which was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. Iceberg wedge crisp and juicy. Kitchen hit a homerun with this one. Would have given a full 5 stars but found the coating on the calamari a little heavy as such a tad oily but not so much I couldn't enjoy it. Looking forward to going back. I noticed they do prime rib a couple nights a week (think the menu mentioned Friday and Saturday), I need to go back and give that a try.

The restaurant was not busy on New Year's Day evening, so service was not an issue. However, it was fast and friendly. Our 5 meals came quickly and were all judged excellent. They paid extra attention to our 2 1/2 year old which she appreciated. Prices seemed just a bit high, but the great food was worth it.
