Jay's Cafe

Indeed a comfort cafe with good portions, prices, and that classic American diner feel. I had a wonderful waitress who served me and my friend with a smile and I wish I knew her name. They are knowledgeable about the menu and willing to make a lot of substitutions to fit 'whatever you're in the mood for'. Parking was easy, but getting into the complex was a little hard on a busy day. Family friendly, lovely green paint in the ladies room. I'd definitely go again! Oh, and the coffee was great!

Breakfast is great! Can be crowded. Good prices. Solid American diner food. Has a dedicated clientele of regulars who know the staff by name. Very friendly! Good service!

This place is great! It's got a nice, cozy vibe. They serve classic diner food, with a wide variety of options, that always his the spot. Staff is friendly, attentive and really takes the time to get to know they're guests.
On the single occasion there was an issue with our order, it was resolved quickly and made a non-issue.
If you stop by and discover the large parking lot is full, take the time to check around the whole building or wait for a spot. It will be worth your time. There's a reason Jay's has a large repeat customer base, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

The food wasn't all that great; I got the eggs benedict and wasn't really impressed. My boyfriend got a burger, and he wasn't a fan. We did, however, also get a side of onion rings... Those were impressive, very good. What made this place stand out to us was the staff. Very friendly, sweet people. And after we paid, as we were pulling out of the parking lot, we noticed we were being chased down by one of the waitresses. As it turns out, she added up the bill wrong and she was chasing us down to give us back $10. Was very impressed by that. We were going to give it to her but she'd already made it back inside and we were in a hurry.

Had lunch with family today and the diner earned an added star. Three stars is where I begin any rating. From there stars are lost when I'm disappointed and earned when I'm pleasantly surprised. Today our waitress was not only attentive, but personable and entertaining. She made the meal fun as well as tasty. Her added effort earned an added star to four.
