The food was delicious and the ambiance is great - casual and modern. The self,-serve beer wall is pretty cool, although it could use clearer directions letting customers know you have to open a tab at the counter and get a special card to operate the taps. Our biggest frustration was that it took 50 minutes to get our food. That's way too long, even for a full service restaurant, let alone a self-serve place like this. We were with 6 other friends and the quickest anyone in our group got their food was 35 minutes. Hopefully this is just due to it being a new business and service/speed will improve as they get things figured out. I would go back, though - the breakfast sandwiches and candied bacon were amazing!
The food is very good, the menu is very limited which is usually a good sign.
My only complaint would be the waiting time. We waited 38min to have our order ready, which is too long for a self order place. You would imagine that it should be faster to make sandwiches, maybe they need to be more prepared and more efficient.
Had the Friends with Benedicts sandwich. Legitimately the best egg sandwich I’ve ever had.
As a few others have noted, prices are a bit steep. With sandwich, side sausage patty, drink, and tip I was over $20.
The tap menu and self pour set up looks interesting. I can see it becoming a hang out spot on weekends. Almost feels like a cross between Shake Shack and Flat Stick pub.
Will add this spot to my lunch rotation but pricing will probably limit the visits.
Food is great, little pricy though.
Got the Deviled Egg Sandwich and the Walk of Shame. The sandwiches were tasty, and I would definitely eat them again. Averaging 8$ for just an egg sandwich with no extra felt a little steep. Also being a breakfast place I wish they served hash browns or some sort of side instead of just shoestring fries.
Cold brew coffee was solid. As was the drip coffee. Nothing special, not clear if they offer refills I didn’t see a sign and it’s behind a counter but I didn’t ask for one. Milk and French vanilla were available with syrup as sweetener. You need to ask for a spoon, instead of having them available to grab, which felt strange though this is a minor complaint.
The beer wall looked interesting, and had a number of good local brews. Though I did not try it, the wall was self serve which is unique.
The space is large and modern. Definitely feels like a place you could hang out and have a few beers.
Overall I would defiantly recommend the place, but expect to spend a few dollars. Two sandwiches, one cold brew coffee, and one drip coffee came in at 21$. Adding in a single order of fries would likely push this to 25$.
Self serve. Great food. Large space perfect for large groups. Only thing missing is a kids menu or a kid friendly option that is less expensive.
