Customer Ratings and Reviews

Service- slow service and lack of customer service

Food/beverage- food high quality though a little high for what you get. Sake selection is good but they were out of 2 sales we wanted.

Ambiance- feels like a little Japan in Seattle.

Wouldn’t race back here but not a bad spot for sushi and izakaya. Only 3 stars because the value proposition isn’t there. Lots of other spots where the service, value and quality is there for a lower price

Great family run restaurant. The food is very good, well-presented, fresh and authentic. This isn't a large restaurant and table space is limited so tables do fill up during busy times - and yes, Izumi is very popular. The services is very good, prompt, freindly and professional. Parking is no issue with lots of space out front.

    Strongly recommended.

Very authentic, absolutely delicious. Do not let the strip mall facade fool you, this will be some of the best Japanese food you have eaten. I recommend one of the traditional bento boxes for a first timer so you can try a variety. Make sure to arrive early, the wait can easily be over an hour for dinner.

A friend of mine and I went to this place on weekday evening and had an amazing experience. Generous portions, fresh sushi and a nice dining experience. I’d definitely be back again.

Nestled in a strip mall in Totem Lake, this place is a hidden gem. It's bigger than it initially looks and is a very tidy space. The division of the restaurant, along with the paper screens and half walls, keeps the noise down and makes it a great place when you care more about being able to hear your dinner partners than what your Instagram photo will look like. Excellent food - the rolls are spare and well-executed. The batter on the tempura is perfectly airy and wonderfully crisp. The food is always excellent and the service prompt and personable.
