Great place to get food in Totem Lake!

This Joe's location delivers great food and great shakes as well! The burgers are pretty juicy and the staff are kind and efficient.

Really wanted to like this new place in Kirkland - Totem Lake. But...

Burgers were good, not my “best” but decent. Perhaps just a touch overpriced for what you get. Good size, good flavor, perhaps too much sauce - making it drippy.

Place is basically an outdoor stand, so no real service other than placing order at the window.

I arrived well before Lunch rush - but still endured too long a wait. Couldn’t understand what takes so long to cook/prep a cheeseburger. Bothersome, esp. when standing out in cold.

Overall experience Disappointing (based upon other reviews & expectation). Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.

Awesome! Yes! We had a 40 minute wait time but was told at the window that they were not expecting the crowds from the article in the times and so I chose to wait. The staff was very apologetic and were doing the best they could with the unexpected response. The gal helping us at the window was very nice and the burgers were worth the wait! We will definitely be back! Hopefully they will be able to work out the kinks but appreciate the candid and effort in an obvious tough situation!

The burger here was amazing. I tried the guacamole burger and loved it. Joe the founder and owner was working, and he was very polite and inviting. I appreciate that he was there teaching the new hire high school kids the ropes. Very cool. We will return! Thanks!

The food was great and the service was excellent. Must try the Diablo chili dog!!!! Also for those who like their burgers wrapped in lettuce instead of buns they do a perfect job wrapping and it doesn't fall apart while eating it. Joe's burgers in Kirkland is a awesome addition to the east side!!
