Yeon's Chicken

Excellent chicken.

The sauce for the spicy chicken runs a little hotter than you'd expect.

Fries and the pickles do a great job of taming the heat.

We'll be back!

Delicious chicken, super chill atmosphere! One of my new favorite Korean Fried Chicken places. And their Japchae glass noodle is an amazing dish alongside any chicken order.

Update: Not sure how but they are EVEN BETTER. The chicken was even more plump and flavor the seafood pancake was even thicker with more seafood. I also found out they are affiliated with Underground Kitchen (Federal Way) but this place has WAY better chicken.

Don't sleep on this place! The fried chicken is perfectly marinated and delightfully crispy. But they are more than just chicken, the spicy topoki (Korean rice cakes)with cheese is so damn delicious. The rice cakes are so soft and the broth is nicely flavored. Also, the seafood pancake is hands down the best I've had in Seattle. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between seafood/veggies/batter, not to mention it is HUGE! All of the staff are super friendly and nice.

We ate Yeon’s and the food was spectacular. We ordered the hybrid platter of original Korean fried chicken (1star spice level) and original chicken. The chicken was tender, flavorful and fried to perfection the sauce was not over powering. The chicken fried rice was also excellent. A big surprise was the chicken gizzard. These bit size morsels were heavenly and paired with a mayo sriracha sauce.
