Zeitoon Grill House

I have been here and/or take out at least a dozen times. It is definitely better than the east coast Iranian restaurants (from MA to GA). In general, the food portion is big. Their Palace Dish is the best choice for someone who wants to try all popular Iranian kebab and it will feed two people easily. Their meat option is great. The rice is a bit oily and the sour-cherry rice is a little watery. It would be much better if they expand their working hours to 10 PM.

We have been to Zeitoon Grill twice so far. The first time was for their opening night and it is true they had a long wait that evening. However, when our food arrived (minced beef kabob, chicken kabob and lamb) all of it was very tasty. I want to especially complement their koobideh (minced beef kabob), it tastes made of wholesome ingredients and stands up the test of next day left over meal! We had 4 children in our party and 8 adults, and staff were accommodating to our several requests despite extremely busy first night.

Tonight we visited again with 2 toddlers and our dinner experience was wonderful! The restaurant was packed but the staff had time to stop by several times, check on us regularly and make sure everything was to satisfaction. Our food arrived quickly and was very delicious! Kids ate everything and that is a high mark given picky toddler eaters. Our kids were very playful at the table and the staff were kind and playful with them. We made a mess at the table and again staff were very accommodating. Those of you reading this review with young kids can relate that finding a place you can enjoy with the whole family is not an easy task.

For your reference, I have been to Iran 3 times and routinely dine in Persian restaurants on the West Coast. Half of my family is Persian and we make Persian food at home regularly. I can honestly say I have had some of the best Persian food on the planet. This restaurant makes great Persian dishes, high quality, fresh and tasty for a reasonable price given their ingredients and time it takes to make these dishes. We will be coming here regularly.

Had my birthday celebration today here. Ambiance is excellent! Love the servers.. very accomodating and very friendly. Everyone is good! Food is excellent ! I ordered chicken in kebab served in hot plate.. deliciousness ! We spent 3 hours there and really had a great time with friends. I love this place! Thank you to my friend Maria for suggesting to celebrate here! The guy main server tonight is awesome! I didn't get his name but thank you very much for your kindness and patience with us sir! May God bless this business abundantly !
