Crockett's Public House

We met friends here for a late dinner. We started with some appetizers which were good. The winner was my house burger, which is one of the better burgers around. I would come again to try some of their other intriguing entrees.

We did a to-go order and the young lady who took our order was very courteous and polite. I did the flagship burger with sweet potato fries - the burger severely lacked seasoning, it was very bland. Why use top notch ingredients if you’re not going to treat them with a chefs touch (seasoning)? My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic! We will go back for that for sure. A bit pricey, surprise surprise.

We had been wanting to try. Many people that we know have come back with more dont order this than i have heard you have got to try! The server was responsive at first, took our drink order and we waited 15 minutes for the drinks, while a family came in got seated right away, served there drinks right away and there order taken right away. we still did not have our drinks, or our order taken. Yes, it was the same server. Do not order the BLT, bacon is beyond salty. If it had been a slice of bacon only, i would not have eaten. Smoke flavor was good just Way too salty. The crisps are really good. Appetizer was good and so was the fish and chips.

Lena is amazing. I live across the street at the apartment complex so we visit here somewhat regularly. They have a lot of great bartenders and servers but she is by far one of the best. She’s funny, personable and can make a mean Negroni. Food and drinks are great, environment is comfortable, and they have the best people.

Food is good, the atmosphere looks like we'll polished plywood, and service good... The beer selection that is on tap is way to IPA heavy... Need a more seasonal rotation. The apps my wife and I split were tasty but not mind blowing... I will return again to give more if the menu a try... Looking forward to my next visit...
