The Original Pancake House

This was my first time here after having heard so many positive comments from neighbors. Excellent food and breakfast restaurant experience. Plenty of menu options and appropriately sized. The waitress was young and professional. I'd go back without hesitation.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a marvelous evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding celebration. The waiters participated in a gorgeous style, the food was great and my friends were so cheerful. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Can't count how many times I've been here. There service is always great, there food is on another level, and the environment/cleanliness is perfect. They're green chili omelet is to die for, and their pancakes are amazing. Definitely worth a visit! Also, this every one of the OPH locations I've been to are great and their standards stay the same regardless of the one you go to.

I don't particularly like pancakes. But these pancakes are from heaven. They are fluffy and light and utterly delicious. I would recommend this resturaunt with fervor.

I take one star off for the country fried steak. It had a bit of a sour taste in the gravy. I believe that is what it is supposed to taste like, but it was not to my liking.

Update: I didn't think it was possible but the fresh strawberry was even better than the pancakes. Crispy with soft inside, fresh made whipped cream and fresh strawberries!! (Not the overly-sugared-so-you-can't-tell-when-they-bought-them strawberries but fresh strawberries with a fresh sprinkle of sugar.) The whipped cream was only second to the whipped cream I've had at portage bay. And even then, I think the overall dish was better here. So good! I recommend with 5+ stars.
