Homegrown

My first time to a Homegrown and it was great! They gave good recommendations and I love the philosophy.

They make a reasonable latte. A convenient place to stop if you're on Mercer island.

Food was good! I wish people were more friendly because I do want to return but I find it hard to become a regular when folks don't take the time to show they care about the customer. If you try to hurry me when I'm ordering multiple plates for my friends - it's not fun! I rather order online through Evergreens.

Some of the best sandwiches/ grain bowls/ and salad in the area. Everything is made from scratch and to order. The staff is always friendly and the place is kept very clean. I highly recommend their chicken salad. Prices can be on the high side but you get what you pay for! I recommend getting there when it opens or after the breakfast and lunch hour rush because it can get slammed with people eating inside and those waiting on their online orders. Ive waited one time for close to 20 minutes for my food during peak hours.

Great food, people and location. Nice to have a slightly upscale concept spot to balance some of the generic options on the island. Cost is steep, but ingredient quality and taste make up for it.
