Cedar River Smokehouse

Came here yesterday, 3/1/2020, as I’ve heard some good feedback regarding this place. The owner served us and was the textbook example of customer service! Greeted us with a warm welcome, checked on us throughout our stay, and gave us a few samples to try...and even some bones for our dog. Very happy customers and we’ll be back very soon! Customer for life!

Good beef ribs are a bit harder to find and my fav when I do eat beef are big, juicy, tasty ribs, 3 checks here. Sides are good, salad bar and there are often new things on the menu to try. I like the way the owner interacts with customers and brings his test kitchen stuff out on the floor for customers to sample. Really nice guy! Good place for desert too. Large variety of ice cream & desserts to satisfy that sweet tooth, they even make milk shakes.

This right here is easily in the top 3 BBQ places in the entire region. I tend to believe that this place has the best barbecue. Because they have beef ribs. Which not a lot of places carry. And this place does it right. They had some new owners by the place a couple years back. And it's really gone uphill since then. The food is all excellent. amazing

The person bringing out our meals was extremely helpful and on top of everything. She anticipated everything we needed before we asked. This place has gotten better over the years.

Was there for lunch today, this was our
3rd time 2 yrs.

We would go there more often but seems like a long ways to travel.

This place is really top notch! I always go for the beef ribs, just meaty and outstanding!

Had Mash Potatoes and gravy and a salad from self serve salad bar.
all salad fixing we fresh and tasty!

Wife had Brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese side!

The owner talked with us for about 10 min. and asked about Food Quality? Nice owner and help there are courteous and friendly!

Would recommend to anyone that likes Texas style BBQ
