Ma.La.Kor Thai

My favorite Thai restaurant local to the Kent/Renton area. Decently priced and always consistent. Ordering through uber eats is always reliable. Service may be a little slow if you are here right after they open but in the afternoon/evening it’s better in my experience.

Just went here tonight with a gf. Oh my god. I love the ambiance and the food was amazing. I got the crab fried rice. Took some home to save for lunch tomorrow and my partner kept stealing bites out of it :) they also serve tea in a pot!!!!

Loved their interior, spacious and exquisite. Wish they had fresh roll, ordered Tom yum soup and fried rice and they turned out to be yummy. The location is quite close to IKEA, another reason to come to IKEA, definitely coming here again

I’ve been looking for a Thai Restaurant to replace the one we left behind in VA. My wife’s co workers suggested this place. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance inside was just absolutely beautiful. Meeting my wife for lunch but it felt like a dinner date. The staff greeted us at the door. Took us to our table. Opening the menu was a surprise too. Only 2 pages to review. But why have an elaborate menu when you’ve got all the best things perfected. We ordered 2 Tom Yum soups with chicken, a Thai fried rice add pineapple and some chicken potstickers. We stuck to the basics because if this is good it’s guaranteed the rest is going to be fantastic.
We are going back this week so I’ll be adding more photos and more to my review.

By and large, and by personal experience, I have binned Thai food into the "Dislike" category because everything's too sweet for my tastes (I usually go for spicy/savory). But I was decently surprised by Ma.La.Kor and its offerings. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere was clean and trendy. Their 4-star spice actually left my lips tingling, which is a relief in comparison to other places playing it safe! All-in-all: impressed. Will gladly come back.
