Over The Rainbow Tea Bar

Great place but a lot of asians were staring at us... Maybe because we're brown? Idk... But its rude. I felt unwelcomed... I just wanted bubble tea... Sheesh.

Over the Rainbow is a cute, local Tea Bar convenient for those who live in the Renton Highlands; there are no other bubble tea shops within the area. First-time guests may experience a bit of trouble finding the storefront as it is located towards the end of the complex. However, the black milk tea is perfect in both the tea to milk ratio and the boba texture. This tea bar is a great place to hang out with friends on a late weekend night---the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. OTR offers Clover points, so keep that in mind as you order. A little box offers free stickers to show your love!

P.S. If you are lucky enough to be served by Jenny, please be sure to treat her pleasantly---she is always willing to make each drink perfect to every request. She is very knowledgeable with the menu and can provide great recommendations. My last visit was an absolute delight thanks to her. :)

This place is awesome, I just found out you can adjust the sweetness and that’s perfect for me because I don’t like boba milk tea when it’s overwhelmingly sweet and you can’t taste the tea! I also ordered their takoyaki (octopus balls) which were the perfect savory snack because I was studying and needed something filling! It was super yummy and only $5.95 for like five balls. Perfect vibes for studying and outlets for my laptop and phone. ????

Love this local little bubble tea spot. Definitely the best bubble tea in all of East Renton Highlands. They also have really tasty desserts as well as several games from which to choose to play. A great place open late to chill in the area so my wife and I enjoy being able to stop by later after work or evening meetings for a break.
