Taqueria Los Potrillos #3

This place is awesome! Just about what you would expect from a food truck style tacos, good price and taste.

Have rotated through Azteca/El paraiso/Sabor a Mexico/Avocados over the years but tried Los Potrillos recently. Very impressed. Clean. Very quick service. Wait staff actually was inviting and courteous, something we don't often see in todays service culture. The chips were fresh The salsa a little spicy (like we like it) but not flamethrower level. Very tasty. Very, very good Pico. I had Pollo Asado the first time and wife had a chimi (chicken). Both were excellent.I tried the chicken carnitas next time and found them very good. The difference here is that the chicken (shredded in the chimi/flattened and grilled on the asado/sliced and grilled for the carnitas) was not rubbery. This is a big difference here over other local mexican eateries. Price is about the same as elsewhere. Refried beans very good. Our new go to place for mexican.

Super delicious! The Taco plate was plentiful and only $6! We went later in the night so it was kind of messy and certain topping were running out. Hence, the missing star! I’d try it again but earlier in the day. The sauces were all great. The creamier looking sauce is super spicy.
