This place is exquisite. You place your order at a door opened from the side of a building by ringing a bell. The menu is a specialty of crispy chicken up to four levels of heat. I ordered a chicken sandwich medium heat. The chicken was a large piece and tasted flavorful. Cheerful service and relatively quick food for take-out only. I'd say it's worth giving it a try. My colleague ordered extraordinarily hot 🔥 🥵 and it was hard for him to finish. I would not recommend it even if you usually would choose five stars at a Thai restaurant. It was a unique experience having a steady flow of customers.
Well they give you this option to have one of your chicken tenders be "extra spicy" and I have a pretty healthy tolerance for spice. I also know a bit about how spice is prepared. What they did was they hit it with some ghost pepper/reaper/scorpion pepper powder which is exceptionally hot but they didn't shake off any extra. They caked the powder on there so that what I ate in one bite was about 20% dry extremely hot pepper powder and 80% chicken. Not only was it inedible because of the spice but it was also like scooping a handful of cocoa powder in my mouth with a little bit of chicken that nearly gave me a heart attack with the level of heat.
My god it was definitely beyond anyone's tolerance spicy and decently crunchy but it was a bad chicken tender, too powdery. I get that they are trying to hurt customers because they complain when it's not hot enough but I wouldn't compromise the integrity of a good piece of chicken by trying to pander to Nashville hot enthusiasts.
Amazing! The chicken sandwich is worth a drive. Try extra spicy if your brave, it's sechuan style. It hits different
