Korean dishes, Teriyaki plates, Chinese stir-fries, and Vietnamese Bahnmi sandwiches. You name a popular Asian food, you probably got it. All at very reasonable prices and for quality-seeking palates. Our frequent go-to after a pleasant Balard Farmers' market stroll.
As someone who works in Ballard, this is my go-to lunch spot at least twice or thrice a week. I probably eat here more often than I should, but it's just too good. The meat quality and sauce flavors beat most teriyaki places I've frequented, including that other popular teriyaki place in Ballard. Servings are quite large and adequately satisfy two lunches if you have enough self control to stop and save the second half for the next day. My signature recommendations: spicy chicken teriyaki or most of the korean options, namely bibimbap, pork bulgogi, or kimbap.
Spicy Chicken. Twice a week. For a year. Dear me, is it a good choice? The only truth is: there are worse choices.
Almost everything is about 12 dollars and it all tastes wonderful so far. Orange chicken is slightly sweet and not spicy, which I still like. Not usually busy for lunch and they're pretty quick, about 10 minutes for food.
