Bluefin Sushi & Seafood

I would probably return here, if I was really craving a conveniently located sushi buffet in Northgate. Kind of grew up with this place here.

The selection of food is okay, it fits the price point. My favorite is the salmon nigiri which they had plenty of and seemed fresh. The staff were friendly.

The place is definitely getting old and can use a remodel. The carpet is getting a little grungy and it smells kind of damp. The booths have holes in the seats. We were seated by a janitors mop and cart which was really unappetizing. It was near the desserts too. Ick.

Disappointed that the lunch closed so early I think at like 2:30pm. It was good we got there earlier vs later in the afternoon.

Parking is free and convenient.

I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I have to say the customer service is always good and they keep the spot well organized constantly. Pricing is fair and they serve large portions.

There were very few gluten-free options I think. Nothing had ingredients posted, so I had to assume that all of the tempura was flour based and everything with a brown sauce was soy sauce based. Service was fine as they picked up the empty plates quickly. The cost was $32 per person and not worth it. The sushi bar did not have much of a variety and there were no vegetable based sushi at all. Everything was either crab or salmon based- very little variety. Mizuki Buffet in Southcenter has 75% more variety in sushi and food choices and is less money.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the team is attentive and cooperative. always when we visit this place we enjoy a lovely evening. warmly recommended.
