The crust isn't traditional deep dish crust. More like pan pizza. But the sauce is great and there's plenty of cheese. The ambiance of the place is pretty cool too.

Came here for our deep dish pizza fixation. The pizza was quite good! The location was a bit hard to figure out. They are actually located inside another business - a bar/lounge/music venue so you will have to navigate inside there to order/pick up your pizza. If you prefer to eat on site seating can be limited because of crowds there for the music but they do have outdoor seating as well.

Amazing pizza in a neighborhood that desperately needs it. I honestly almost prefer it to windy city but you can't go wrong with either.

Honestly my only qualm with it is the location. Clock Out isn't exactly a great place to sit and eat (IMO) so I pretty much get it to go every time. Although you definitely can eat it there, and I know a lot of people do, so I don't hold that against them.

    Worth it.

BTP is worth a trip from the city. It's worth the mild L on atmosphere, which is a grungy, red-lit, sparsely decorated concert space that's a bar first and a restaurant second. It's worth the price point, ~$30 after tax for a pie for three. It's worth the wait, which can be 30-40 minutes of cook time for an impromptu walk-in.

There's just no better pizza. Nothing that I've tried in Seattle - or New York for that matter - can match the crusted cheese edge, the sourdough crust, and the incontrovertible degree of witchcraft oozing into every bite. We've all heard that the real Windy City's pizza is overrated, so I don't feel the need to look elsewhere.

    Tips:
    1) If you're dining in (recommended because delivery through Caviar is subject to extra fees), order online in advance! The site allows you to schedule a dine-in so that you minimize the time spent agonizing over other tables getting their pies before yours. Egoists will delight as under-prepared table-neighbors comment, "how did they get their food first if they just arrived?"
    2) Extra cheese. Do it.

NOT kid friendly - it's a literal bar (by a different name) with a pizza corner inside. Wish they accommodated kids better because there were several people in there with children who were barely managing. We were planning to eat there but then changed plans and took the pizza as takeout. I would recommend takeout unless you're otherwise at the bar drinking with friends or something. It's not a restaurant where you're served.

Pizza is really good, and seems to be made from scratch with good ingredients. It's cooked in a skillet so the cheesy edges get super crunchy and yummy. We will probably order takeout here again on the rare occasion we are craving this style of pizza.
