Well the food was great. Vegetable hash was very good. The fresh fruit and yogurt was attractive and delicious, with a good quality yogurt. They have a cool Bloody Mary bar. Almost a meal in itself. They also have some great non-alcoholic drink options.
Service bordered on terrible. Servers were in their coats and knit hats. Our server obviously didn't want to be there. Another server came up and asked our server a question right in the middle of taking our order. When drinks were served, it was done so sloppy that one drink sloshed onto the table. No offer for a new drink.
Parking is difficult to find. Street parking only.
It's a shame that the great food the kitchen makes is being served by a front of house staff that obviously doesn't care.
A fun niche spot. I came here for breakfast. Prices are modest and fair. The decor is quite fun. There is a limited menu and I would like to see that expanded a bit. But they have mimosas so you can drink and get over that small discretion. Quality coffee as well. A great Sunday morning breakfast spot.
I love trying new places and this place did not disappoint me. I had the crab cake Benny and it was load with flavor and crab meat. The coffee was delicious and on point. The staff from the woman who seated us to the servers were attentive and very welcoming. My daughter Had the avocado toast with a tofu scramble on top and that was delicious even to me and I’m not a fan of tofu. I totally recommend this place.
Go for lunch, everything so far is great from food to service. I forgot the name of what I just had, some Hawaiian thing with braised pork, brown rice, a fried egg and gravy... so good. Sandwiches, salads, can't imagine someone can't find something they love.
Clean restaurant, respectful staff, decor is pretty cool. They have a large coffee menu but I don't drink coffee. I had the dragon tea and it was good. The menu wasn't very extensive or exciting. I would say the food was decent.
