Chinook's At Salmon Bay

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and the atmosphere and view is great. Always great service and consistent food. The Mahi fish tacos are the best and the shells are perfectly grilled for a great crunch. But the wildberry cobbler is the star of the show....

I believe this happens to be number 1,000 out of 1,000 reviews? Fortuitous. This is one of my favorite places to eat and we at the Ballard Locks always refer people here. Either nice indoor dining or a quick bite at the outside bar.

This is a family/casual restaurant. The seafood is good, as well as excellent baked and broiled dishes you can choose more standard fried entrees. Almost all seating allows views of boats and marina activity. Summer or warmer weather there is an outside seating. Associated with Anthony's but less expensive. I have always had very friendly wait staff. Always quick seating and never more than 20 minutes even for 4-6 people.

Great food and great service, 4 stars for these categories. Location combined with food and service makes this place 5 stars. All plates were really good. The oyster appetizer was the best part of the meal, someone having this delicacy brought our group together in laughter and of admiration of the experince.

The streamers were excellent. We had halibut and Oregon rock fish. Both were very good. The halibut was the best I've had in years.

The little wild blackberry cobbler was worth the wait while they baked it. Overall, an excellent dinner.
