Absolutely incredible local breakfast. They have very interesting twists on traditional breakfast food like chicken and waffles and eggs Benedict. 10/10 will gather again.
I really like the place for what it is, an upscale bistro for the tech elite. They sous vide the meats to a flavorful perfection. I had the gnocchi and it was melt in my mouth good. The prices we higher than $$, more like $$$$, drinks are petite bottles and servings for full price. The service is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable about the chefs menue.
Fantastic brunch! Couldn't get in to some of the more popular brunch places so took a chance and we were so glad we did. Cocktails had very good flavor, and the food tasted like it was made when we ordered it, so fresh. Recommend the scone and chicken & waffles!
Went for happy hour to give it a try and was impressed by the quality of the food and drinks. We sampled 4 dishes and 4 drinks from the happy hour menu and they were all good. Most of the food menu consists of plates to share. Service at the bar was good and the drinks from the menu were interesting and tasty. We plan to go back for dinner or brunch as both menus looked good. The location is easily accessed, its right across the street from the Ballard library. I even found street parking fairly easily.
The atmosphere and most of the food was great. Went for restaurant week and I'm not really sure they understand what a paella is. Overall the food my group ate was good but typically paella is crispy on the bottom and moist but not soaked. This paella was more like a wet risotto in a paella pan. Still tasted good flavorwise but was more like eating soup.
