TLDR: get the Naan and Himalayan Stew! Great combo.
Menu is pretty straight forward but sadly doesn't have any images. The descriptions are pretty accurate though.
Service: wait to be seated, order and pay at the table, you will be watered, box your own leftovers, your table will be bused.
Naan: generous proportions and very affordable! Some dishes come with it so keep in mind and don't order a side of naan unless you really want it. I ordered the garlic naan and was not disappointed. Very light salt taste with garlic--perfect combo for the Himalayan Stew.
Himalayan Stew: order this and prepare yourself for a food coma. This dish is super filling and I love the taste! The spices really make this dish--almost like a curry that's not spicy (though you can add spice). I wasn't too big of a fan of the dough balls, but the chicken was pretty tender and the veggies were melt in your mouth consistency. Be warned though, this dish contains peas and cauliflower; flatulence happens. Just a tip for those that might be on a date. ;)
Average but good - good offerings, pretty nice interior, fast service, reasonably priced for what it is.
Pros: • Decent food & fast service,
• Choose how spicy you want your food
• Good portion size
• Reasonably priced
• Great for groups!!
• Abundance of street parking
Cons:
• Great staples, not super exceptional, just the basics
Pictured below / We got:
• Garlic Naan (not pictured)
• Tandoori Chicken
• Chicken Tikka Masala
The menu says entrees include "basmati rice, traditional Nepali dal, yogurt sauce & homemade tomato chutney" photos include everything we got aside from the naan.
Great place to visit. The light smell of curry hits you when you first enter. The food is thoughtfully prepared, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Be aware, though, that an 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill.
Good food and a pleasant atmosphere in a nice location. We came here to celebrate a friend's work accomplishment and it was perfect. Cozy enough to have a conversation, big enough to get in without a wait. One warning: medium spicy is still pretty spicy! We were all sweating eating our medium spicy dishes.
The ambiance is comfortable with regional maps under the glass table tops. The kitchen area is open to view just like a rustic mountain in. Usually we are one of the few"caucasian" couples and the mix of languages is another indicator of the "authenticity" of the food. It seems to be family owned and not a "commercially" motivated business. Such attitudes always make the food taste better.
