Mediterranean / Middle Eastern inspired high quality food executed at a high level. Homer stands out amongst most middle eastern places in the Seattle area, and I'd say is number one if you consider this is just influence and not straight up middle eastern.

    Would definitely eat again.

A wonderful spot for Mediterranean in Beacon Hill, I was delightfully surprised by my entire dining experience at Homer. Very unassuming with its location, you walk in and are immediately greeted warmly by lovely staff. The decor is gorgeous — wood all around and tastefully decorated. Lighting would be excellent for a romantic rendezvous, and the place was certainly busy for a Wednesday evening. We didn’t have to wait long, and got seated immediately. Service was warm and attentive, and the food was excellent and timely. In particular, I really enjoyed the labneh pita, and my main, which was the mushroom & winter squash stew. Would definitely return.

Each dish had me wanting to try the next. Can’t wait to try this place again. The flavors were just unreal. So so good. A must try hidden Seattle spot. Make sure to show up early. We chose to sit at the bar so we could watch each dish be made and enjoyed the heat from the open flamed fires burning in the kitchen on this cold winters day. Friendly knowledgeable staff on hand to keep you wanting more. It was our first time but we will be back.

Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, very loud, friendly service, no reservations. Lamb dishes were the best. Large portions, too.

Great restaurant with Mediterranean style food prepared in a wood burning oven and open fire grill. Really enjoyed the squash and walnut spread and was delightfully surprised by the flavor as I usually wouldn’t seek out either of these flavors. The grilled pork [belly] (not pictured because it was quickly devoured) was easily the best dish, but it was closely followed by the anchovies served with freshly baked then grilled bread and served with a harissa butter. The place is also known for its soft serve which we complimented with a freshly baked cookie. Really liked it, but wasn’t as blown away as I thought I would be based on year end reviews. Good job, I’ll be back to try more.
