Jai Thai Udub

Pretty average Thai food for a decent value, but restaurant could use a little work. This was one of the few spots open for Thai food on the Ave when I went. The restaurant overall seemed a little rundown and could use more work with cleanliness but seemed what you would expect for the location. It’s pretty large inside with plenty of seating. There are a lot of options, mainly the traditional Thai food. I got the yellow curry combo as it came with curry, rice, and pad Thai. It tasted good, and was not too sweet, but the curry was a little salty. The portion size was large and filling, and fair for the value. The Thai Iced coffee is ok but there’s mainly ice in it. The staff is nice and service was fast. Overall, it’s just an affordable place for Thai food and good for quick bites.

The food here comes extremely fast which was surprisingly very nice! I had fried rice on one visit and pad Thai on another and enjoyed both meals. The portions are satisfying and the dining area is spacious and was pretty empty both times I visited. Would come again!

1st Visit:
Ordered 3 dishes for takeout. Two of them were quite good. The third, a Pork Curry Fried Rice, the meat wasn't cut right. We picked up just strand of meat that really needed some clean cuts to separate them during preparation, yet it wasn't and straight into the wok it went -- poor attention to details.

We will go again since the food is pretty good regardless.
