Best Thai food in Seattle, some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Great ambience and good service. You pay upfront which means you can head out after eating without waiting. The bar seems stocked too.

I have eaten at Kin Len a few times. Today, I ordered a crispy papaya salad and a red curry with chicken. The papaya salad was very good, even 30 minutes after I had picked it up. The curry was tasty too, but she forgot to include the rice, so I had to cook some rice at home myself and then re-heat the curry. 3 stars is their "extra spicy", which I specified for the curry, but it was not very spicy. I do recommend a 4-star level option so that the customers can be sure it's spicy when so desired. In general, the food at Kin Len is on the better side compared to many other Thai restaurants in Seattle. However, none of the Thai restaurants around here manage to actually prepare a curry dish that genuinely tastes authentically Thai. Too much sugar, too much cream, too little variety of vegetables especially, the latter being an important part of authentic Thai curries. It just doesn't taste as good as you find it in most run-of-the-mill street-side restaurants in Thailand. It is possible to find authentic Thai food outside Thailand, for example at restaurant Schönscharf in Vienna, Austria. But not here.

AMAZING. If you’re looking for a super cute, super delicious, and budget friendly stop in Seattle this is the place. The portion sizes are HUGE if you aren’t a heavy eater, sharing is optimal! I had the 2 in 1 pork dish and it was massive and incredibly delicious. My friends have the pineapple fried rice and curry and they absolutely loved it. This place is truly a gem! Drinks were awesome too.

I have lived in Thailand for a significant period. Without a doubt this place offers real "street food" taste. Would highly recommend basil pork / chicken, if you are visiting the first time.
