Attempted to go here (45th Ave in Wallingford), but the liquor license appears to still be pending; not yet open as of 2/6/20. Will update when they open
Cozy and unique spot. Great food that goes well with vodka. Prices that are mindful of the proletariat.
Incredible bar, now my favorite tavern in Seattle. Excellent food and unique drinks, many of which are inspired by their house special beet vodka.
...I know, I know, 'beet vodka?' you're thinking, 'gross'... but what a gem, no clue I'd love it and find myself wanting to fill up on it again and again and again.
But if that's not your thing there are plenty of standard alcohols and beers on tap as expected.
The real pleasures of coming here are:
-the quiant and well done Russian atmosphere that's not too much and still keeps the bar unique
-free to play traditional Tetris arcade machine
-the traditional menu of Russian foods centered around various dumplings, pickle plates, and ending on some general potatoes options. All delicious.
-and last but not least by bar are the owner's and bartender's attitudes. Working along side each other they are the most pleasurable people, quite obviously taking care and pride in their work and business.
Overall 10/10, hidden gem, don't miss it.
I love this bar! Great food, awesome drinks, and fantastic service! I know I'll be back soon!
This is the most pleasant, quirky bar to get a cocktail in Seattle. Owners are passionate, and hardworking which shows in every aspect
Get the weekly special cocktail, and you won't be disappointed. I should know. I get drunk off of it everytime! Also, pro tip: Don't give them electronic gifts that may catch fire. They really frown upon that.
