Stopped in for lunch with a friend. The food was reasonably priced with appropriate portions. Everything was hot, tasted nicely and the service was good as well. Will return.
Great variety of Asian dishes. Food was delicious and service was very good. Prices are also reasonable. Not a lot of ambience, but everything else is 5-star.
Lee's is my go to restaurant when I crave "Chinese food" in West Seattle. I always get honey walnut prawns, cashew nut chicken, broccoli beef, and chow fun noodles. Ive never been let down by them!
I am ever on the lookout for that elusive dining unicorn, a "neighborhood Chinese joint". Over the years, there have been many, some spanning years of loyal followings, some measured in weeks or days.
If you want to experience Lee's, I suggest you visit quickly. Longevity is unlikely.
The food is, as a 3 star rating should convey, "okay". It is not memorable, good or bad. It is basic, with some dishes more promising than others.
You will find familiar favorites on the menu, with adequate but not generous portions.
This establishment seemed oriented to dining in and this it where it falls short, losing at least a star (in Hope's it was only an "off night").
Confusion seemed to reign beteeen kitchen and service. I looked on in horror as an appetizer was delivered to an adjacent table, who started to dig in, before alerting staff to THEIR error. The dish was returned to the PASS (the shelf between kitchen and service), then brought out again.
I pretended it did not happen to spare an inevitable scene.
Perhaps YOUR experience, Brave Diner, will be different. Just watch where your dish is delivered and be ready to intercede.
My family has been in West Seattle
For 6 generations hands down the best Asian food in West Seattle.
There honey wallnut prawns are the hit. Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, dishes
are top of the best food around.
