Local Point

Salad bar used to be a good deal. Now prices have been raised. Floor layout very bad for a cafeteria serving large numbers of students. Waiting lines back across traffic lanes. There are pinch points everywhere. You have to fight your way to the bussing area. Once there, there is no flow path so everyone jams up trying to get in or out.

Local point is overhated for a school cafeteria. They are always cheap have a lot of variety to choose from. There are dishes that you can’t go wrong with, such as the pasta from big kitchen, or the Italian club/toasted cheese and soup from the deli. Pagliacci and dub street are also really consistent with their quality, although service depends on the student workers so it might be bad. They have started to charge for drinks unless you have a $1000+ dining plan which is an unwelcome change.

Avoid eggs here, they often cause stomach issues.

i got the scrambled eggs. they were pretty bad but when i was about to leave, they sprouted legs and walked away. it was kinda awesome actually. i recommend the eggs. not for eating but for observing.
