Maneki Restaurant

Ordered the grilled salted mackerel and shrimp tempura roll for dinner. We picked up the order in 20 minutes, everything was fresh and tasted delicious, and they threw in a miso soup!

I would recommend scoping out the place before driving there if it’s your first time - it’s kind of hard to spot at a glance. There was ample parking along the street for a quick pick up too!

One of the best takeout experiences during covid. Everything was freshly prepared and safely packaged. My order was complete and ready on time. Variety Ozen was delicious. Will definitely order again, and hopefully, dine in when safe. Thank you!

The first sushi restaurant in Seattle is still kicking strong and scrumptious entrees. Their black cod collar bone is not to be missed. Salt fatty fishy bone meat. You can't find it at any other restaurant and it is worth the trip just for that dish. Their sushi is also some of the best in the city.

Here's to another 100 years!

We ordered a foil baked salmon with miso hollandaise, croquettes, and seaweed salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked on a layer of fresh onions. The sauce had a hit of spice but paired perfectly with the salmon. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and savory on the inside.

The owner talked to us about the history of Seattle and even gave us some extras to help celebrate our friends new job.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit this historic spot.

I tried Asian cuisine for the first time here and it was insanely delicious! The atmosphere is pleasant. Like to come here both with family/friends and alone.. delicious and atmospheric restaurant!
