(October 24, 2020, 5:34 am)One of my husband and I’s staple go to restaurants for date night. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Matsu’s new inside seating and table dynamic is safely socially distanced and they have the option for outside dining if you want to be extra cautious. The interior is clean, trendy and inviting. They have many diverse options on their happy hour menu as well as their full menu. You even get a complimentary plate of edamame! When I was pregnant the bar tender was so sweet and made special “mock tails” (zero alcohol drinks) for me and they were all very tasty! We would definitely recommend matsu as their prices are reasonable, and the experience and cuisine itself is excellent. I am getting hungry just writing about it!

(October 8, 2020, 5:21 pm)Matsu compares favorably to Kashiba and Mashiko, except there you're going to spend a lot more money. I got a roll, two Old Fashioneds, a brothy tofu, and edamame for $27 during happy hour the other day. Very fresh fish, very well made, great service, strong drinks. Can't beat it.

(September 13, 2020, 1:58 am)We came here to celebrate my wife's 40 birthday. The ambience was perfect. Sushi was the best. Service was a perfect 10.
