Not Just Fish and Chips

I loved the fish, chips and coleslaw, all. This fish itself was the best quality pacific cod I've had in Seattle. I also like that they have options of 2pieces of fish. Lucky to have this shop in my neighborhood.

I just got the crispy cod sandwich and I cannot rate it highly enough! First off I was very impressed by the dedication to keeping everything crisp- all the sides and sauce were packaged separately, it came in a cardboard to go box, and the sandwich was wrapped in parchment. The fish was perfectly crispy and moist, the brioche bun a good quality, the fries light and shatteringly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the tartar sauce clearly homemade with a lovely tartness. Overall very impressed!

Peak crisp and deliciousness of fresh fish, without the descent into an oily stomach ache. A bright cole slaw. Fast and friendly service! Few things more comforting on a gloomy day.

I've loved fish and chips ever since I was in middle school. It's one of those go to comfort meals for me and I'll often judge a seafood place by the quality of their fish and chips. Thankfully this place isn't just good, they are excellent. I was initially unsure about fish fried in a panko breading as opposed to a more typical beer batter coating, but they nailed it. Super crisp coating, moist fish, minimal grease, and great flavor. The chips were fluffy on the outside and crunchy on the outside and while the coleslaw wasn't the best coleslaw I've ever had it was still very well made. I even got to have a fun conversation about Japanese jazz with one of the staff to boot.

Highly recommend this spot. The definition of a local eatery that deserves to be supported by the community. I will definitely be visiting again.

This spot is awesome! Our favorite fish and chips and they take care to pack the hot and cold elements of your meal separately so the fish, fries, and lettuce on your sandwich is still crispy even when you get home.
