Ordered fried chicken, gumbo, chowder and Mac n cheese. The Mac and cheese and chowder was very good. The gumbo and the fried chicken on the other hand was pretty bland. Had to take a bite of Mac n cheese in between bites.

As I'm typing this it makes me wonder if this is to keep the food "healthy." That's what it reminds me of, things I'd eat when on low cholesterol diets. Lol

With all that said I'd give it another try some day. The food wasn't horrible and all the staff were really friendly. I'll probably try other things on the menu though.

Loved dinner here! The fried chicken is some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The etouffe was also delicious. We were not super impressed with the pork and it was on the pricier side for what it was. The drinks were stellar- if you are into espresso martinis, this is the place to get them! The espresso is so fresh and it is very well made. High recommend an evening at parish!

[brunch review] The food at Parish is incredible. The best item on the menu is probably the shrimp and grits. I would avoid the gumbo, it has good flavor but is quite sparse for a gumbo, and there's no okra in it. The eggs in purgatory and hash are my two runner-ups for best items on the menu. Aside from the food, you can't miss out on their cocktails. The brown derby is so delicious, and the grapefruit gimlet is perfect if you want something bright and a little less sweet.

Best meal on this trip. We had the corn and crab chowder. Plenty of outdoor patio seating. It was chilly so we sat indoors. Server was very nice and friendly. Overall great experience. Would highly recommend.

We traveled to Seattle and decided to see what was available in nearby Ballard. We found this small, very friendly place. Their food was flavorful. I would call it Cajun like food. It tasted good but I miss that kick that Cajun food has. Otherwise if you want Seattle's spin on a milder version of Cajun food. This is the place for you. Everything made here was made from scratch, I appreciate that. The service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed the location and appearance of this place. I was happy to have found this little place. We had their gumbo, house made sausage, hoppin johns (black-eyed peas, bacon, holy trinity), collard green and a chocolate dessert.
