Delicious food, amazing service! Went with my husband and 6 year old and got the family meal with pork belly for our meat of choice. Meat is very well seasoned and huge portions, corn bread is delicious, mac and cheese is amazing (breadcrumbs too!). My husband loves the potato salad - not very creamy IMO but has lots of bacon, onions. The employees are so wonderful.
Great place, never been here before. The staff answered all my questions and the food portions were great and it all tasted great. The sweet sauce had just enough heat in it to give you a good buzz. My work is probably going to use them to cater a retirement party
My son was visiting from out-of-state and asked where I wanted to go for lunch. I live in Auburn, but worked near Pecos for a few years and never had the chance to stop by. So off we went, and it was a decision neither one of us will ever regret. We arrived as the doors opened, greeted by what I can only imagine Heaven smells like. Rick, our server, treated us like family. He walked us through the menu, explaining how they prepared various items as well as customers preferences. In the end, we both agreed that we should let Rick order for us. My Son had the brisket sandwich and I had the pulled pork. The prices are a little steep, but the food more than made up for it. Good portions kept us both full until diner. If you made me complain about one thing, it would be the Scoville number applied to their 'hot' Que sauce. C'mon guy's: I know you can make it hotter than that! Thanks again to Rick; see ya soon!
Did I hear there's one opening in Federal Way...?
Its all about customer service these days. It was our fist time in and a young lady explained how the menu worked. We did not feel rushed. She was very nice, very professional. I think most businesses have that one really good employees that stands out amongst the rest, that was her. Thank you.
This is a review of Pecos Pit's awesome food truck:
There is a BBQ vacuum in Seattle. As a Kansas City transplant, this made me very sad. Then I found Pecos Pit. These guys get it: 16-hour briskets, the meat tastes fantastic BEFORE you sauce it. Just legit BBQ served up by nice folks.
