Our very favorite pho restaurant ever. Always so tasty and a great quantity for the price. Our 6 year old and 2 year old love it too. Plus, you get free tasty cream puffs with each order.
Best broth base I’ve had.. cream puffs are amazing like AMAZING! But the service is always weird... they sit us fast but then stare at us the ENTIRE time we eat and it’s just awkward but if you can get over that you’ll be fine
I've been here a handful of times and each time I have a very different experience. Sometimes the staff pretty much ignores me, sometimes they just stand around staring. But today gave me several impressions-
When I first walk in an older man stares at me until I ask for a table for just myself, then gruffly points me towards a window seat. Not friendly but that's fine by me, he's here to make money after all not be my best friend.
A young woman takes my order and a kind man (different than the one who 'greeted' me) brings out my food in record time and it's delicious.
At the end of the meal my total is $12.06. I give the first young woman $13 my money at the register and she just says "thank you!" over and over again as if to tell me to go away and that she's not giving me change.
The only explanation I can think of is that she didn't see the $3 I had put on the table already and assumed I wouldn't tip unless she took my money forcefully, which is beyond insulting and definitely a racial stereotype. I had half a mind not to walk up to the table and take it back since she only wanted $1 apparently.
