Every sandwich is delicious. My personal favorite is the Flavor Bomb but you cannot go wrong here. The latke press sandwiches are also good, if that is your thing. All 3 types of sides are excellent, as well as the pickle. Even the espresso drinks rival any in town.

Love having this in my part of Ballard, where good sandwiches are hard to find (no dis on Mean Sandwich, they are just further from my office). I've only been once, had their classic with pastrami and slaw on the sandwich and potato salad on the side. It was all delicious, the pastrami nice and smoky. They rye bun could have had a bit more rye flavor, but it was soft and delicious. Can't wait to try a latke sandwich. Oh yeah and they have a little off street parking as well!

Food tastes great and the service is good. Great food selection, even have house-made pickles! I will definitely come again. Recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

We love Schmaltzy’s nice staff, great food and honestly in Seattle, very reasonable prices! My husband and I go once a week and always enjoy our breakfast! Opening a small business is a huge undertaking and it takes time for a business to get in the groove, Schmaltzy’s is worth the wait!

Started with matzo ball soup - amazing. Then had a pastrami sandwich - brilliant. Finished with a half/half cookie - wow. Purchased four of the knish for my co-workers - crushed within minutes.

This place is yummy to the max!
