Swung by the other night because we were feeling sushi and didn't want to travel too far. For a neighborhood sushi joint, I was pleasantly surprised!
This isn't the kind of place you make a pilgrimage for, but if you live nearby, definitely consider checking it out. The fish was fairly high quality, the prices reasonable, and the specialty rolls interesting and tasty.
You can find better places for each of those, of course, but Sushi Samurai fits in as an excellent local option for sushi. It wasn't super busy, even during the middle of dinner time, so it shouldn't be difficult to swing by, which I do recommend if you're in the area.
Been coming here for years! Know all the staff and owners and it feels like hanging out with friends every time we sit at the sushi bar. Of course the sushi is great, we don't just go here for the company. Highly, recommend checking this place out.
Great food and great service! Best sushi in town with the best people serving it. Highly recommend the rainbow and dragon rolls.
Was here a while ago, but had an unexpectedly friendly and personalized dining experience. It was slow, so appreciated that the server (think he mentioned his family owns the spot but I am dusty) was extra present. Salmon small platen was charred excellently and quite hearty.
Picked up some delicious sushi here, rolls were a little loose.. and I could’ve done without the weird crab legs coming out of the snow crab roll we got.
But all in all it was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice!
