Tai Tung Restaurant

I had the house special fried rice. I’d seen photos of it and it looked delicious. However, the shrimp in my order looked puny and withered. The overall taste was decent but not what I wanted it to be because I love young chow fried rice. Maybe I was just unlucky. The service though was very friendly and inviting. I will return just for that to try the rice again and other dishes.

Still my favorite Chinese restaurant on the planet! I've been eating here for over 40 years and I'm a new comer compared to some!
Harry and staff are the best! Love the (always) fresh vegetables cooked perfectly and the BBQ pork is delicious! Be adventuress and try one of the specials posted on the wall behind the cash register.

Food is delicious to state the obvious. Quite a selection with the menu.

Purported to be the oldest operating Chinese eatery in town, it looks the part. Still taken care of, but the building and interior is showing age.

Helpful staff and lively loving atmosphere. No way to take a wrong turn here.

I would move to Seattle just for this place's Oyster Sauce Beef. If you're unsure of what to order, trust the server, they know what they're talking about. Was crazy busy when I went but the servers were doing the best they could with the staff they had. If you're looking for a quick bite and servers who'll shine your shoes, maybe don't go here. If you're looking to just sit down and really enjoy the the vast choices of authentic Chinese dishes, this is the place.

Authentic and the chicken wings are great but you need to eat them right away!
