This spot is LEGIT. If you are from southern California and you're missing home, you need a plate of these tacos. The carnitas is on point - nicely crisped and perfectly seasoned. But the real treat? Cabeza and tripe tacos. If you know, you know. Mostly taco plates, but has a few other options as well. You should eat here. I almost cried when I first took a bite. I'll be back again and again.
Edit: [not sure why i felt weird about the interaction. From my perspective they were serving people who ordered well after first. Bumping up one star 'cause i am still salty.]
Original: Weird energy from staff. Dismissive and distant.
$7.50 for a cheese quesadilla made from likely mission tortillas from Fred Meyer down the road. Like I make at home! So that was nice, but the experience didn’t sit well.
This was my second time here, and had you caught me then, would be 5 star. Now my take is it will not be a place I go for taste, convenience, or human connection.
Good, authentic taco stand. Sometimes inconsistent but I still go! It's convenient and inexpensive.
Above average street tacos. Definitely some of the best you’ll find in Seattle area. Have had a few orders a little botched though. And I have been overcharged on two separate occasions. Hasn’t stopped me from returning though. Your mileage may vary
