This is a really nice place for kaiten sushi. I took my brother and sister-in-law here. It was there first time. There's lots of regular sushi and some special rolls. I really like their spider roll. If you don't like sushi, they have a full cooked menu with and the Japanese restaurant items you'd expect. Great place for before or after a movie.

I always have a good time here. Depending on when you go and where you sit, the belt options could be slim, but you can always order rolls and the price of the plates are the same.
Service is good, even when they're busy, they are usually nice and attentive. I really recommend trying Tengu out!

In my experience, Tengu Sushi is the best balance of price and quality in North Seattle. There is nearly always a waitlist, so get there earlier than you think! The fullness of the conveyor belt definitely depends on the time of day, but they're always willing to take direct orders for specific rolls or the other items on their order menu.
Its not the best sushi in Seattle. But it IS good. Generous, well-proportioned rolls. The fish is fresh, well cleaned, and tasty.
The best thing of course is the conveyer; you can spend $1.50 or $15.00 because you choose what you take.

Conveyor offerings are frequent and varied, orders from the kitchen don't really arrive, even if you remind the wait staff. My tea was kept full even though the dining area was about two thirds full. Will go back, but mostly because this place is local and the food is already prepared.

An enjoyable sushi restaurant with a conveyor belt full of outstanding choices. There are some booths for groups. Or sit at the bar and talk with the chefs. The fish is always fresh with a clean finish. There are milder choices for a western palate, and more traditional options for a more experienced Japanese taste. It's a popular place and there can be a wait on the weekends, but they are very efficient and seat folks as fast as possible.
